HEAD OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Description

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT:
• Work closely with the General Manager and other Group stakeholders to maximize business development opportunities for Payments within Bahrain.
• Responsible for building profitable business models and acquiring customers for Prepaid Cards, Digital Payroll Services, Multicurrency Travel Cards, Digital/Mobile Wallets and any new products which would be introduced in the Payments Business category.
• Proactively develop new business sales leads and maintain existing relationships with customers.
• Achieve profitability objectives as per given targets and financial budgets.
• Coordinate and contribute to the development of quarterly and annual strategic plans.
• Continually monitor and analyze competitor products, services, offers and activities, while maintaining a detailed understanding of market trends.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure they are communicated and implemented.

CUSTOMER FOCUS:
• Create and present Sales/Business Development activity reports as required by the General Manager and other Group stakeholders.
• Develop and execute the new marketing strategies based on the Company Strategic documentation.
• Provide accurate and timely competitive analysis of market activities to enable a more proactive and thus more competitive approach to business building and evolution

Responsibilities

OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE:
• Internal stakeholders to ensure service level agreements are met and the highest standard of quality service is delivered.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders in the business and infrastructure functions to enable effective delivery of the corporate strategy.
• Deliver weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual analysis, and metrics versus official targets.

RELATIONSHIP MANAGMENT:
• Manage relationships with key internal and external people. Maintain excellent relationships with all Departments or Functions to ensure that all improvement opportunities are identified and implemented in an efficient and effective manner
• Contribute to an environment of teamwork within the sales unit.

1. EDUCATION & TRAINING

• University degree required as a minimum. Master’s degree in Business Management is preferred.
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office
• High attention to detail
• Strong work ethics
• Excellent research, problem-solving and negotiation skills

2. EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 8-10 years managerial experience working within a Foreign Exchange Company/ Financial Service Industry and must have in-dept knowledge of the Payment Solutions Industry.
